The Wind Speed Correction Job Manager is a tool to aid in the setup and execution of a Wind Speed Correction (WSC) task. A WSC task consists of one or more WSC jobs, which are set up independently of each other. Each WSC job computes the winds needed for the vulnerability functions of the Vulnerability Component of the Florida Public Hurricane Loss Model (FPHLM).
The Wind Speed Correction module is one of the main components of the Florida Public Hurricane Loss Model. You can find information on the model here.
For additional information on the model, please contact Dr. Shahid Hamid by phone at 305-348-2727 or by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
